The end of 2019 was a very tough end for what was an overall excellent year for me fishing wise. I travelled some distances as is now common place for me in search of specimen carp. I travelled to Dale Hollow twice, which the first trip produced some excellent results, the second trip in early winter not so much. I travelled down to Texas to fish the Mill creek cup which was as to be expected, an excellently put together event by the top brass at ACS (shout out to Clayton, Wayne and last but by no means least Sean), but, again that was the start of lots of struggles for me catching fish.
